Oh, sparkly things, how we love thee! I believe that all girls have a love of sparkly, glittery things starting with the first time we use glitter on a project in preschool. Oh, yes, it’s true. So, understandably, what bride wouldn’t want to incorporate something sparkly into her wedding? Or many a something sparkly? I chose door number two for this week’s autumn inspired wedding board! You can thank me .. with sparkly things .. later! ;)

Let’s start with that stunning bolero! It’s .. wow! .. so, so pretty! (Alexandra wishes she had it in her closet right. now.) The perfect sparkly complement to a fall wedding that also combats the cooler weather. And what a beautiful bouquet filled with pumpkin colored calla lilies and soft dusty miller. And how about that adorable little pumpkin? Move over Cinderella’s pumpkin – there’s a new kid in town! And he sparkles. :) And that cake! I have always been fascinated with spun sugar. I love to watch how a pastry chef spins this fabulous confection and how they use it to accent all kinds of yummy goodies. This cake is no exception. In fact, it’s simply fabulous! It practically makes everything around it glow. And, of course, no bride could refuse those sparkly shoes! Cinderella may have worn glass slippers but sparkly shoes are where it’s at in 2012. Lastly, I just love the neutral bridesmaids dress with a pop of pumpkin for the sash. Yum.my.
