Today’s wedding inspiration board has a little bit of everything – some preppy stripes and country club drinks, soft, handmade invitations and some of our favorite colors that just work together so well – navy, yellow and green. I also feel it is another one of those color combinations that speaks to me as typical New England. When I see navy, green and yellow together it reminds me of the green mountains of Vermont, the blue ocean of our coast, the white mountains of New Hampshire and the sunshine all around. See what I mean?

Our inspiration for this board actually started with the pretty yellow shoes. Oh, how I love those shoes! Then it was the bridesmaids dress of a navy top and a green striped skirt. So preppy and fun, pretty too! Now, I don’t recommend the yellow shoes for the bridesmaids; I’d prefer something more like a strappy navy heel, but the bride, now she’s the one to rock those fabulous yellow shoes! And speaking of the bride, don’t her bright blue eyes just draw you into her heart? :) Of course, we love the groom in his almost denim blue vest with the perfect yellow tie and preppy striped shirt. One of my favorite looks for a groom is a vest and a crisp white shirt with rolled up sleeves – so incredibly sexy! I love the beautiful invitation with its soft torn edging giving the look of custom, handmade paper. Lastly, we have a classic lemonade with a sprig of rosemary. Add a splash of spirit (vodka, perhaps?) and you’ve got a great combination, maybe even a wedding signature drink!

Got to love the navy, green and yellow – another great New England wedding inspiration!
