By now you all know that red is one of my favorite colors, but yellow, yes, is also one of my favorites. I’m beginning to think I have way too many favorites :) When I saw the yellow bridesmaid’s dress, I knew I had to create a wedding inspiration board around that dress! So I hope you enjoy today’s lemony yellow, purple and gray modern inspired fete!
Yellow can be a pretty tricky color, but when complemented with the right colors (like gray and purple) you can create all kinds of awesomeness. The first color we chose was lavender as seen in the flowers on the table in a beautiful vineyard setting. Gray is the other color which we chose for the groom. Don’t you just love the whimsy of a gingham, yellow bow tie? I adore this “passport” wedding invitation – perfect for destination weddings! And how much do you love these limoncello favors? I do!! Now are you ready? THIS is the dress that inspired my board today! The styling, the color, everything about this dress shouts wedding and summer. Love! And what would you rate the adorable DIY place card on a scale of 1-10 (ten being the best) for cuteness? 10.5!! Simple and doable, and totally unforgettable for your wedding, and even other summertime soirees!
