By now, most everyone must know that Tangerine Tango is the Pantone color of 2012, right? And since we just love this color so much, we thought we’d combine it with a softer shade like peach, and adding just a touch of navy for our backyard Southern summer wedding inspiration board today!

First, we have our groom with a navy, gingham tie and a linen suit. The suit is a great summer option, lightweight for those sweltering days, and the tie gives a perfect, relaxed look for a backyard wedding. Which leads us into a pretty awesome letterpress invite to a backyard soiree (with tacos, no less!). I love the vibrancy of the orange, um, tangerine :) Taking the tangerine color to another level, I adore these cupcakes with their pretty patterned liners and a little slice of orange on top of fluffy frosting. A bouquet with soft peach and cream roses is the perfect delicate shade to offset the pops of bright orange for this wedding inspiration. These sweet flats for the bride would work so well for a backyard wedding – comfortable and stylish! And what a great little wedding cake topped with a juicy peach, blossoms included :) All of this is perfect for a backyard Southern summer soirée, no? xoxo
