It’s no secret that we love rustic weddings. We also love organic foods, especially at this time of year when the harvest is at it’s peak. By combining both our love for rustic and organic, we created a wedding inspiration board that reflects all of the textures and colors that reflect both of our loves.

It was this gorgeous bouquet that inspired me to create our inspiration today. I love all the textures and colors. What a truly unique work of art! It gives a real sense of earth and the harvest season by combining flowers and greenery including herbs, as well as vegetables. Can you spy them all? We truly make an effort to reduce, recycle and reuse whenever we can, so I love an idea where a wedding favor can actually serve two purposes and not be wasteful. Why not serve up a drink as a favor – two birds with one stone! Serving up your wedding meal family-style creates a real connection for everyone as well as warm fuzzies. Wouldn’t it be fun to wrap up the baguettes like they are here? After all, presentation is everything. Reusing old crates and adding a little moss makes for a great escort card DIY – a perfect rustic element! And don’t you just love the asparagus wrapped around the votive?
Organic – “denotes a relation between elements of something such that they fit together harmoniously as necessary parts of a whole”. That’s what I think this inspiration board represents, harmony between organic, earthy and rustic – a real beauty! xoxo
